URGENT: Wix Legends scam warning: How to Spot Fake Wix Legends Messages and Avoid Online Scams

Over the past few months, we’ve seen a sharp rise in phishing attempts and impersonation scams across the web. Unfortunately, some bad actors have gone so far as to use our company name, our logo, and even sign messages with our names in an attempt to appear legitimate.

Several clients have reached out asking, “Did this really come from you? It looks off.”

We want to make this crystal clear:

Every official message from Wix Legends comes from an address that ends in @wixlegends.com.

No Gmail addresses. No look-alike domains. No “partner” variations. No exceptions.

If a message claims to be from Wix Legends but does not end in @wixlegends.com, it is a scam. Make sure to always check the email sender.

What do these messages look like?

These messages often:

  • Ask you to click a link

  • Urge you to act quickly

  • Mention account issues or “urgent updates”

  • Use our branding or names to build trust

That is exactly how phishing works. We never send surprise requests for passwords, payment details, or urgent “fix this now” messages.
